Tuga Army was founded on March 16. A group of friends created a unique project dedicated to building memories, fostering relationships and offering a space where players could compete, improve their skills and socialize, defined by its distinct atmosphere and values.
A year of restructuring. A new administration took over, growing servers and slots from 110 to 160. An attempt to expand toward RolePlay fans with a FiveM server saw early success but fell outside the community focus and closed months later. Creation of what is today My Tuga Army, a support website giving access to information about players, servers and the community.
A new administration reinforced ambition and grit. The community began a new era, consolidating visible growth. The visual identity was renewed with a logo inspired by feminine strength, making the warrior a symbol of the constant fight and the respect we want to convey in gaming.
The third anniversary was celebrated with a renewed logo, dropping traditional mascots in favor of a recognizable icon. Launch of the slogan “More than a game, an identity”. A year marked by events that created memorable experiences, strengthening unity and friendship within the community.
Four years of the project were marked with new servers and a structure able to support the community demands. National leadership in competitiveness with Competitive and Retake modes atop the GameTracker ranking. The drop system was closed, returning 43,419 cases - equivalent to 11,301.81€ (prices of the time) - to players. CS:GO shut down and the community paused temporarily.
A strong comeback, consolidating Tuga Army as the main choice of Portuguese players. A year marked by a new structure, renewed digital platforms and lasting partnerships. Creation of TAC Coins, a virtual currency for internal transactions. A community ready for future challenges, keeping innovation, fun and constant evolution.
A year of adventures and expansion. Support for university projects, teams and e-Sports organizations. Creation of the first official tournament, “Tuga Army Tournament”, bringing together the best of national competitiveness and well-known faces. Servers expanded from 20 to 43, making Tuga Army the largest community Counter-Strike project in Portugal.
